Diagnostic Excellence & Applications
Preparation & Procedure Guidelines
- Attire: Remove all jewelry and metal fasteners (zippers/buttons). A medical gown may be provided.
- Contrast Agents: Certain exams require drinking Barium or receiving IV contrast to highlight organs or vessels.
- Breath Control: You may be asked to hold your breath for a few seconds to capture the sharpest possible image.
- Post-Exam: Standard X-rays require no recovery. If contrast was used, follow our team's hydration instructions.
